最近利用空闲和孩子们一起去加拿大落基山脉自驾游，开 始于Calgary， 结束于温哥华，行程1000英里，时间一周。虽然去加拿大多次，但每次感受不同， 这次旅游中有些印象深刻的人和事想和大家分享。
一到加拿大，就觉得所有道路两侧告示牌，提示牌特别多，让人有点眼花缭乱。我们就因为没有看清或看懂牌子在班芙吃了一张55加元停车罚单，吃罚单后一路上不得不强迫自己去搞明白那些眼花缭乱的牌子含义，可后来还是糊涂了，差点又在温哥华吃罚单。记得在班夫小镇晚餐的时候停车是一位难求，违规的停车到处都是，我们在找停车位时，就看到街道两旁两个警察相向而行开罚单，贴了一张又一张，想想这小镇靠开罚单一定挣不少钱，既然这么多罚单，为什么不用这些罚款来建更多的公共停车场。我本想申诉一下罚单，但看到网上有个芝加哥医生在小镇的报纸上发表了一封短信，complain罚单，好像也没效果，当时就在网上付了那个罚单，省得回美国忙起来忘了，只是这种事总让人不愉快，风景再美，也会降低再来的兴趣。
在美国或加拿大走过很多公路，加拿大落基山脉的93号公路应该是我走过的最美公路之一，如梦如幻的冰原公路从班夫露易丝湖延伸到贾斯珀，这里既有山清水秀，也有冰川奇峰，大自然的秀美今人流连忘返，但更令我惊叹的是它的气候变化。短短的200多公里，让我们在同一天走过了四季，早晨在路易斯湖是大雪风飞，开了几十里后是风雨交加，再过来是阴雨绵绵，然后快到贾斯珀时阳光普照，云淡风轻。一路上我们不得不感叹大自然的奇妙，这也是一生中难得有的经历。
加拿大一直在世界最宜居的国家名列前茅，其实我更喜欢的是加拿大人的淳朴，热情及助人。记得95年我们去加拿大安大略省的伦敦开会，车子在路上抛锚，路过的加拿大人免费帮我们修理好。这次我们在温哥华同样感受了加拿大人的好客。在温哥华的市中心孩子们一时心血来潮要坐公交车去几个景点，上公交车才知道只能用硬币买车票，一行人车票要十几加元，可是我们一共才找到几个加元的硬币，司机是个中年白女客气给我们解释情况，看我们很尴尬，就告诉我们全部不用付了，当时在我们后面上车的人主动要求帮我们垫上差额，司机也没有接受，我们算是免费坐了一次公交车。
加拿大是个多民族的移民国家，但只有英语和法语是官方语言，其中80%的人讲或懂英文，30%的人讲或懂法语。在Calgary, 所有公共场合的标示都同时有英和法语两种，但温哥华却只有英语一种标示，几乎见不到任何法语，好像也没有人在乎法语，给人感觉温哥华更像美国的城市。记得二十多年前，我还在比邻加拿大的底特律时候，每天能看到的加拿大电视台都是法语区举行独立公投消息，最后几乎成功。虽然联邦政府那以后给了法语及法语区更多的地位，甚至觉得有点过分讨好他们, 但像温哥华这样的大城市却不在乎，靠实力说话，国家如此，国家之内的城市和族裔也是如此。

shoes arrived in 4 weeks to the uk. shoes are decent enough and came with spare laces and lots of little extras which was a lovely gesture on their part. ordered uk10 and the sizing was great, great fit amp;#40;Iamp;apos;ve ordered many before where sizing is a big problem. all in all very impressed, would recommend them. only downside to me was delivery time but in the current situation I dont blame the seller for that at all. thanks guys, will order again soon thanks
